For the past fifteen years, Deborah has been successfully writing grants for public and private non-profit agencies. She specializes in education and professional development-targeted grants as well as grants for public health organizations. She holds several post-secondary degrees and educational training experiences that have prepared her for working in a field that requires knowledge of grants and government contracts. Most relevant, she holds a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from the California State University of Bakersfield as well as a Masters Degree in Business Administration and Doctorate Degree in Law. Before joining Resource Associates, Deborah worked as the Director of Development for Ebony Counseling and Health Center of Bakersfield California as well as the Grants Administrator for Farmington Municipal Schools. She also spent several years teaching grant writing and social science courses as a faculty member of San Joaquin College (and of several California State University campuses). Deborah has been awarded well over $60 million in the grants that she has written during the past several years for Resource Associates and is nationally recognized as an expert in grant proposal development. Deborah is a strong leader who is responsible for managing the company’s quality control services and administrative staff.

Judi Howell, Client Network Manager comes to Resource Associates with a varied background that makes her well suited for quality control and grant writer management. Judi has a M.S. in nursing from the University of Tennessee. She has also been the owner of a small business and Executive Director of the Hughes Springs Chamber of Commerce, so she has expertise in health related issues, non profit and business grants as well as an understanding of logistics and client needs. Judi works in our Texas Branch Office and is responsible for quality control between our grant writers and clients. She serves on the Foundation Board of Good Shepherd Medical Center Linden, Hughes Springs Chamber of Commerce, Cass County Performing Arts Council and the East Texas Tourism Council.

Rachel brings over 15 years of administrative and contract management experience to Resource Associates’ Contracts Department.  With expertise at all levels in both for-profit and non-profit organizations, Rachel secures our clients’ protection and support in the grant development process.  She has served as Vice President and Director of Cultural Resources Management Consultants and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science and Biology.  As our Contract Manager, Ms. Nawrocki manages and coordinates our direct-client contracts, as well as the annual retainer agreements with our vendor clients.

Ms. Goff has over 12 years of experience in the development and writing of federal, state, and foundation grants for such organizations as the Oregon Health and Science University, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, and the Department of Human Services for Multnomah County, Oregon. Ms. Goff has successfully applied for, and received funds from such federal agencies as the US Department of Justice, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Education, and the National Science Foundation. Her areas of grant writing expertise include public health, domestic violence and child abuse, mental health and substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, disabilities, housing, and various fields of science. Ms. Goff has facilitated several workshops and training sessions on strategic planning and the fundamentals of successful grant writing. Ms. Goff is currently responsible for writing grants and performing quality control for the company’s grant writing activities.

John leads Resource Associates' outside sales and marketing team and responds to RFP's and RFQ's for grant related services. He works with many of our new clients to advise them of the best course of action to achieve their funding goals and acts as the client's point of contact throughout their relationship with Resource Associates. John also heads sales for our evaluation division, Evaluation Associates, and works extensively with our nonprofit arm, the Grant Experts. John is a very gifted grant writer who specializes in Department of Health and Human Services grants and American Recovery and Reinvestment Act grants. John taught classes in Composition Fundamentals and College Composition at Colorado State University where he holds a Bachelor's Degree in English. He further completed the coursework for a Master's in Literature at the university. After a successful career in the US Army, John spent a number of years as a Publications Manager at Integrity Publishing, a publisher of custom client-driven magazines showcasing Charitable Foundations, Chambers of Commerce, and Visitors Bureaus and has extensive corporate and major account management experience working with companies such as the Avis/Budget Group, Cingular Wireless and Canon Business Solutions.

Pam Fite serves as the Client Network Manager for our new Texas Branch Office. She has 30 years of experience in public education. She worked 21 years as an administrator (12 of those as an Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology) in a mid-sized school district in Northeast Texas. Pam has experience writing, managing, budgeting, and evaluating grants from a variety of funding sources. She is available for consultation on most all educational issues and has current knowledge of No Child Left Behind and the requirements of that statute, such as using research-based strategies in schools to address identified needs. As an experienced staff developer and presenter, Pam serves as a trainer for Resource Associates, mentoring new grant writers and evaluators interested in adding these skills to their areas of expertise. Pam has a Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Hearing Therapy, Deaf Education and Educational Psychology and a Master's Degree in Educational Administration.
