Resource Associates' services can quickly result in millions of dollars in discretionary grant revenue for your education agency. Our services include, but are not limited to the following:
After thoroughly discussing your organization's funding needs (as well as your short term and long term academic improvement goals), our grant writing team will research upcoming funding opportunities that align with these needs and goals. We will then develop a detailed report of grant competitions for which you are eligible to apply and likely to be awarded. Depending on the type of funding your organization needs, this 'Grant Research Opportunity' (GRO) report will typically include anywhere from 20 funding competitions to over 50 competitions. We only put the most appropriate funding opportunities in the report which will reduce time and future research efforts as you prepare your annual grant development schedule with our staff. This also places you in our grant alert system so that when new grants come out, we will alert you and offer you consulting in making the decision whether to go for the grant or not -- free of charge. The GRO report development process takes up to four weeks to complete, at which time we will e-mail you your GRO report and then meet with you to thoroughly review the report, prioritize the funding opportunities, and establish your grant schedule for the year. Fee: $500
Resource Associates' strategic planning services include the coordination of a one day, in-depth strategic planning session that may actively involve (at your discretion) district, school, higher education, community, and/or other stakeholders. The purpose of the session is to identify and prioritize the comprehensive funding needs, goals, and initiatives of your organization and its constituents. A funding needs assessment and 'Grant Research Opportunity' (GRO) report are then developed (in articulation with these priorities) and reviewed with you for the purpose of establishing an annual schedule of high priority grants that we will track and pursue for your organization. This also places you in our grant alert system so that when new grants are released, we will alert you and offer you consulting regarding whether or not particular grants should be pursued. In doing so, we always look at your "odds" of funding, your budget, and whether or not your organization is a good fit for a grant. We will never recommend that a client moves forward with a grant unless we feel that the client has an excellent chance of receiving a grant award. Fee: $2,800 (plus travel and per diem)
Resource Associates' professional grant proposal writing services include the planning of the grant program design (with your organization and its partners), development of the full narrative and budget, and submission of the proposal. Every step of the grant writing process is designed to incorporate strategic planning between our expert grant writing team and our clients' staff and stakeholders so that the resulting grant program produces results and solutions that are customized to address your (and your constituents’) needs. Fee: $500 to $3,300 per grant (depending on the length of the grant narrative).

"Since I began using Resource Associates over 10 years ago, the two rural Alaska school districts that I have been the Superintendent of have been awarded over $5 million in state and federal grant funds. They are everything and more in what I need from a grant writer. The grant evaluation services are also top notch and the professional evaluation services score well on the applications. Since I first contracted with Resource Associates, way back when, I have not used anyone else."
